The amazing Zurich ensemble Soyuz 21 will perform two solo pieces of mine on January 20, 2018 in the very special venue Photobastei. Ping Pol will be performed by the wonderful multi-guitarist Mats Scheidegger.
Klangmanifeste Vienna 2018 has featured the piece/installation “Whispers”, an ad-hoc recording studio, where a melody is imitated by the visitors of the exhibition. 24 singers and non-singers took part. All the recordings of the melodies were then played later as part of the official concert, along with a live performance of “Ping Pol“, a solo steelstring guitar piece. It all happened on the 17 January 2018 in Echoraum, starting at 18:00, with the main performance at 22:00.

My piece “Ein Lied geht um die Welt / A Song Travels the World” has been running for a bit more than a month and is finally finished. This was the invitation video:
21 people have imitated a little melody. They recorded themselves singing it and then passed it on to the next musician.
Here is the final result, with all participants in the track description:
During an intense week of the musical gathering Verantwortung 3000 I led a group of musicians through different kinds of simple setups, experiments and pieces of mine. You can listen to them here. All the details of the pieces are in the descriptions of the tracks.
