Die Perfekte Passivität at Festival Rümlingen

With a custom built 7-meter-long instrument constructed by Jonas Hertig, which is played by rolling suitcases over it, we premiered Die Perfekte Passivität on August 17 and 18 at the Festival Rümlingen 2018. It is a landscape opera played by four musicians plus a model airplane pilot.

Musicians on board were: Noëmi Schwank (Saxophone, objects), Antonio Jiménez-Marín (Trombone, objects), Miguel Ángel García Martín (percussion, objects), and myself (objects).

Other operas at the festival included premieres by Clara Ianotta, Manos Tsangaris, Peter Ablinger, Barblina Meierhans, Ruedi Häusermann and Mischa Käser. Artistic directors are Sylwia Zytynska and Daniel Ott.
