Landscape Opera Die Perfekte Passivität at Festival Rümlingen

With a custom built 7-meter-long instrument built by Jonas Hertig, which is played by rolling suitcases over it, we will premiere Die Perfekte Passivität on August 17 and 18 at the Festival Rümlingen 2018. It is a landscape opera played by four musicians plus a model airplane pilot.

Musicians on board will be: Noëmi Schwank (Saxophone, objects), Antonio Jiménez-Marín (Trombone, objects), Miguel Ángel García Martín (percussion, objects), Mauro Hertig (objects)

Other operas at the festival include premieres by Clara Ianotta, Manos Tsangaris, Peter Ablinger, Barblina Meierhans, Ruedi Häusermann and Mischa Käser. Artistic directors are Sylwia Zytynska and Daniel Ott.
