Basel based Lemniscate Ensemble are taking the newly commissioned ensemble piece Longtermism on their concert stops through Bern, Zurich and Basel from May 8-10, 2023.

Longtermism is composed along the musical childhood memories of the musicians of the ensemble. Each one of them operates a cassette player filled with lullabies, their early pieces, scales and memories of teacher’s instructions. They play along their own musical past, interweaving the musical now of the concert with their earliest acts as musicians.
